NSCN/GPRN during its joint council meeting of steerin committee, council of kilonsers and heads of departments on July 12 unanimously accepted the merger of Naga Rengma Hills Protection Force (NRHPF) with the NSCN (I-M). In a press note, ministry of kilo affairs GPRN, secretary M. Daniel Lotha stated that 30 members led by its advisor, Keyhang Rengma (Joseph); chairman Logusheng Rengma (Arhabe); vice president, Manong Rengma (Tennyson) and 50 cadres led by ‘lt. col.’ Rilugu (Kainito) c-in-c along with 45 arms and ammunition joined the NSCN/GPRN. Lotha said “the meticulous and priceless contribution for the cause of the nation shall be cherished and honoured by all national workers.”
