Manager and staff of the Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd (NSCB), Changtongya Branch, has felicitated Changtongya village and the Women Allied Co-operative Society, Changtongya village, for receiving awards during the recently concluded 45th Annual General Meeting of the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd at its head office, Dimapur.
Changtongya village, which is also the adopted Model Village of the Bank, received a commendation certificate for achieving 100% financial inclusion. It is also the first village in Nagaland to achieve such feat where every household in the village has an account.
Besides, the Women Allied Co-Operative Society, Changtongya village, also received the second best society in Nagaland.
The Manager and staff thanked the Changtongya Village Council and executives for their tireless effort in achieving 100% account opening and also the Women Allied Cooperative society for setting an example to other societies for their proper thrift and credit management.
