NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has conveyed greetings to the Pochury and Khiamniungan community on the joyous occasion of ‘Yemshe and Tsokum’ festivals.
NSCN (Akato) MIP said Yemshe and Tsokum were pre-harvest festivals invoking God’s blessing for the harvest and was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety in anticipation of good and bountiful harvest.
Like the festival signifies, the group hoped that the Pochury and Khiamniungan community blessed with abundance and bountiful harvest and continue to be the pathfinders and peacemakers among Naga family.
