DIMAPUR: NSCN/GPRN‑K Michael has extended greetings to the Sumi community on the occasion of Tuluni, the mid‑year festival celebrated as a season of abundance and thanksgiving.
Tuluni, also known as “Anni,” marks the most bountiful period of the year and is observed with community sharing, familial bonding and peace‑making. The festival is regarded as a thanksgiving to God for a fruitful harvest and a time to strengthen unity among the people.
In its message, NSCN/GPRN‑K Michael called upon the Sumi people to seek God’s blessings for wisdom, strength and harmony among Naga tribes. It also conveyed wishes for peace, prosperity and a brighter future for all Nagas.
