NSCN/GPRN (Khango) has condoled the untimely demise of ‘lt. Gen’ Chingkem Konyak, GSO-1(Admin), of Wanching Village, under Konyak Region, who passed away in an accident while on his way home from GHQ on December 27.
In a condolence note, NSCN/GPRN (Khango) thought its MIP said that Konyak joined national service in 1993 as a young soldier, and dedicated his entire life fighting for the glory and honour of our nation.
In his demise, the Naga nation have lost a true and patriotic officer, and his distinguished service records and sacrifice for Naga nation would never be forgotten, but etched forever in the book of the fallen heroes.
NSCN/ GPRN (Khango) further conveyed condolences and sympathy to the family members and prayed that the Almighty grant solace and comfort to his loved ones and the soul of brave comrade rest in eternal peace.
