NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Hokato Vusshe) convened an extraordinary National Tatar Hoho on April 23, at its designated camp CHQ Thamsao, as called by its president, ‘lt. gen.’ (Retd.) Khango Konyak, the MIP said in a press note.
During the session, key issues concerning the functioning of the government were discussed, with members focusing on strengthening collective leadership in view of the ongoing national political exigency. As a result, the house unanimously appointed Imyapangba Ao and Khekato Kinimi as vice presidents of the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN).
The group congratulated both the leaders and expressed hope that they would serve the Naga nation with sincerity and dedication in pursuing a solution to the long-standing Naga political issue under the leadership of president Khango Konyak and ato kilonser Hokato Vusshe.
The meeting concluded with the Speaker, Visheto Yeptho, adjourning the session sine die after deliberations of all agendas.
