NSCN/GPRN (Niki) extends Tulini greetings

DIMAPUR: NSCN/GPRN (Niki) has extended Tuluni greetings to all Sumi brothers and sisters across the homeland and beyond.
In its message, NSCN/GPRN described Tulini as a sacred celebration of thanksgiving, friendship and community life, embodying the timeless values of unity, hospitality, mutual trust, hard work and reverence for tradition.
It said these values have sustained the people through generations and strengthened the fabric of society.
The group urged the community to reaffirm commitment to preserving cultural heritage, protecting customary institutions and upholding the dignity and unique identity of the Naga people.
It stressed that a people faithful to their history, traditions and collective aspirations could never be erased by time.
Highlighting the strength of unity amidst diversity, NSCN/GPRN said Nagas, though belonging to different tribes and regions, share a common historical consciousness and responsibility to safeguard the legacy entrusted by ancestors.
It called upon the festival to inspire greater understanding, solidarity and cooperation among all sections of Naga society, renewing the resolve to pursue peace with justice, uphold rights and dignity, and work for the welfare of future generations.
