NSCN (I-M) Ao Naga national workers have decided not to extend any form of cooperation/relations in the functions and activities of the Ao Naga national workers civil authority.
In a press release issued by central administrative officer, Ao region NSCN (I-M), Maong Ozukum claimed that Ao Naga national workers unanimously resolved to cease any form of “cooperation and relations” with the group’s steering committee members L Yanger Pongen of Chuchuyimlang village and Imtiramok Jamir of Mongsenyimty village.
The release said it has come to the knowledge of the region that the duo has been “regularly creating confusions and misunderstandings within our fold in their quest for selfish and personal gains”.
It stated claimed their “incorrigible activities” have been as stumbling block in due process of delivering “our” duties and assignments. “Their constant interference resulting in dividing different sections of Ao societies has become a regular feature”, the release added.
The release further claimed that their “ill motivated actions” have tarnished the image of Ao Naga national workers adding that “we” also foresee that they will be “instrumental in bringing bigger embarrassment in the near future”.
Asserting that the region was committed to work for justice and for the welfare of “our” people, in its pursuit to do the same the region said it would not extend any form of cooperation/relations in the functions and activities of the Ao Naga national workers civil authority.
