NSCN (I-M) Chakhesang region observes ‘Naga I-Day’

NSCN (I-M) Chakhesang region celebrated “75th Naga Independence Day” on August 14 at Chosaba Village.

A press release by the region stated that the “presidential speech” was delivered by kilonser and caretaker CAO Chakhesang region, Kuthonuzo Khusoh.
In a short speech, Chosaba village council chairman Chikhoneyi Vero spoke on the “present active movement and peace settlement with the government of India for the future of the Nagas”. The programme was led by ‘leacy’ Vezokho Hoshi, invocation was pronounced by Chosaba Baptist Church Pastor Nuchitso, welcome address by deputy kilonser, Zapoyi Vero, vote of thanks by deputy kilonser, Zhokhoneyi Soho and benediction by Chosaba Baptist Church head deacon, Muhupra Rhakho.
