DIMAPUR: NSCN(I-M) Chakhesang Region has reaffirmed the declaration adopted at its meeting on July 15, 2025, extending unwavering support and confidence to the collective leadership of ‘president’ Q. Tuccu, ‘vice president’ Tongmeth Wangnao, ‘ato kilonser’ Th. Muivah, and ‘deputy ato kilonser’ V.S. Atem.
In a press release, secretary Mhaseveo Rhakho stated that the collective decision and mandate of the House remain valid, binding and representative of the will of the region. The region maintained that unity, mutual trust and collective responsibility are indispensable in advancing the aspirations of the Naga people. It expressed its resolute stand behind the Framework Agreement and reaffirmed full commitment to safeguarding and upholding the historical and political rights of the Nagas.
Accordingly, the Chakhesang Region unequivocally reaffirmed its support for the Framework Agreement, Naga National Flag, Yehzabo (Constitution), and the enduring cause of Naga Integration, asserting that these principles embody the collective aspirations and identity of the Naga people and will continue to guide the course towards an honourable and inclusive political solution.
The Region further called upon all national workers, leaders and the Naga public to rise above individual differences and work together in the spirit of reconciliation, understanding and national unity. It maintained that collective commitment and unwavering dedication to the common cause are essential for securing a future that honours the sacrifices and aspirations of the people at this crucial juncture in Naga history.
