NSCN (I-M) has condemned the June 20 incident where it said that “one kilonser of NNC-Non Accordist (MK) was arrested Hozheto group of NNC along with his vehicle and handed over to unification group.”
While stating that it was a matter of serious concern, NSCN (I-M) said the incident was highly condemnable and warned that “NSCN will not take it lying down”.
However, in order to avoid further misunderstanding, NSCN (I-M) has asked the unification group to release the klilonser along with his vehicle without further delay.
NSCN (I-M) said that the kilonser was arrested for supporting the Framework Agreement.
“Given the importance of the historic Framework Agreement that incorporate the historical and political rights of the Naga people with sovereign right, it is critically important for the Nagas to support the Framework Agreement to form the basis for Naga political agreement,” it added.
