NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of late ‘sergeant major (posthumous)’ Lunglaingam Thaimei, Naga Army No. 43416/15 of Phungtha Brigade, Naga Army from Ganglon village under Zeilad region on August 27.
NSCN (I-M) in a condolence note through its Ministry of Information & Publicity (MIP) stated that, late Lunglaingam had enrolled in the Naga national service on August 11, 2015 and served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise.
Expressing that void created by his demise was deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in, the Ministry of Information & Publicity further stated that, for his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices shall ever be cherished by all.
GPRN conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and friends of late Lunglaingam and pray Almighty God grant his soul eternal peace.
