NSCN (I-M) has accused Indian Army of going about and moving from village to village near the road that leads to Camp Hebron at the time of its choosing to frisk and question villagers.
In a press release issued by its ministry of information & publicity, the organisation said the approach of Indian Army to look out for its members reminded it of the pre-ceasefire days that it hated to look back
NSCN (I-M) said such a conduct of the army was exasperating both for the villagers as well as the commuters.
According to the press release, creating such an unpleasant situation where the Indian Army had become too judgemental towards NSCN (I-M) was not compatible with the present ceasefire arrangement between Government of India and the organisation.
Reiterating its sincere desire for peace and not any kind of conflict, the organisation said it looked forward with hope towards building a peaceful and lasting political solution.
