NSCN (I-M) Ladies Unit celebrates 25th ‘Raising Day’

NSCN (I-M) Ladies Unit, “Naga Army”, celebrated its 25 years of Raising Day, “Sisters in Arms: Unveiling the Legacy” on March 26 at the Ladies Unit Compound, general headquarters, “Naga Army”.


A press release by NSCN/GPRN MIP informed that, ‘kedallo’, Tongmeth Wangnao graced the function as the chief guest and addressed the gathering. He complimented the ladies and said they were sincere and dedicated to their service.


In a welcome address, “commanding officer”, Ladies Unit, “Naga Army”, “lieut. col.”, Leishimi Muinao, MSM, asked the unit to reflect on the sacrifices made, the challenges overcome, and the victories achieved as the Ladies Unit celebrates silver jubilee.


“It was through the sacrifices of our esteemed pioneers and seniors that we got this opportunity to gather here with jubilant hearts”, said Muinao. During the programme, the gathering also honoured the pioneers of the Ladies Unit with a standing ovation.
