NSCN (I-M) reacts to Tokheho’s statement in Parl

NSCN (I-M) has expressed dismay over the manner in which Nagaland’s Lok Sabha member Tokheho Yepthomi presented the Naga issue in the Parliament.

In a statement issued through its MIP, NSCN (I-M) observed that the historical and political dynamics were missing and hence the punch was found wanting in Tokheho.

According to NSCN (I-M), the conspicuous failure of Tokheho was noticed when he could not even mention the correct date of signing of the historic Framework Agreement. Accusing the MP of using misplaced political terminologies like Naga “underground’ and “militants”, NSCN (I-M) said his failure to do proper homework had left the Naga people seething with righteous anger.
