NSCN (IM) clarifies no link with four detained individuals

dimapur, JUL 19 (NPN): The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) has categorically clarified that it has no association with four individuals reportedly detained by Indian security forces on July 14, 2026, in Sharkaphung (Litan Police Station) area.
In a statement issued by its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), NSCN identified the detainees as Wungphayo Kasar (24), son of Yurthan Kasar; A. S. Ninglum (29), son of A. S. Hopeson; Yaoreingam Lungleng (24), son of Makanmi Lungleng; and Vareiyo Lungleng (56), son of Tuifa Lungleng.
The organisation asserted that none of the persons named are members, associates, or representatives of NSCN.
