NSCN-K condoles

DIMAPUR: NSCN/GPRN-K (Khango-Vusshe) mourned the demise of ‘maj. gen.’ Kakiho K Chophi, who passed away on June 30.
A condolence message by NSCN-K through its MIP stated that Chophi joined Naga National struggle in 1989 and served the Nation with utmost sincerity and dedication till his demise.
It further added that throughout his years of unwavering commitment, he stood as a symbol of courage, sacrifice and steadfast determination, asserting that his legacy would continue to guide their struggle and remain lasting source of strength and inspiration.
NSCN-K added that his departure was an irreparable loss not only to the Government but also to Nation and people for whose freedom, dignity and aspirations he devoted his life to.
NSCN-K further extended deepest condolences to his family, comrades, friends and all those who mourned his demise and expressed solidarity during this period of grief and prayed that they find strength and comfort in the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
