NSCN (Khango) clarifies, warns

NSCN (Khango) has clarified that it has neither endorsed nor entrusted any officials to issue “non-local identity cards” or collect money in Kuhuboto area, Niuland district. In a press release, NSCN (Khango) MIP said that some unscrupulous elements were involved in issuing IDs and collecting money in the name of “NSCN government”. NSCN said it viewed the “act of imposters indulging in tarnishing the good image of the government” seriously and warned any individual or group to desist from any such activities to avoid stringent action.
