In response to the rejoinder by Star Cargo Transport Agency’s proprietor Nitovi Aye rebutting its earlier statement and directive, NSCN (Khango) has reiterated its allegation that the proprietor was in his own capacity collecting revenue from transport agencies affiliated to the transport agency on behalf of the organisation and other Naga political groups (NPGs) for the past nine months.
Alleging that the amount generated was disproportionately embezzled by him, NSCN (Khango) Naga Army (N/A) GHQ media cell in a communiqué disclosed that it was treating the issue with seriousness as the gravity of the offence was unpardonable.
The group also condemned Aye’s attempt to discredit its statement and directive by conceiving schemes and fabricating kidnapping stories to come out clean and play the victim.
Pointing out that it was no stranger to the fact that Aye was taking undue advantage of his position and status, NSCN (Khango) said it however gave a “tinker’s curse about it”.
The group declared that it would not settle even for a penny less that Aye owed and directed him to submit the amount at the earliest to avoid any unwanted outcome.
It further directed all the transport agencies and trucks affiliated/registered with Star Cargo Transport to dissociate from him and his agency until the matter was settled.
The group cautioned that in the event of non-compliance of its directive, the defaulters would bear the sole responsibility for any consequence.
“The NSCN (K) will bear all responsibilities and the liabilities of the actions and the undesirable consequences that might occur with the person in question and the defaulters, as a result of defiance of the government directive,” the communiqué stressed.
