NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) has expressed grief over the demise of kilonser L. Honito Swu, ato Kukau (Head GB) of Lotovi village, who passed away on February 11, 2026. In a press release through its MIP, the group acknowledged the voluntary and selfless national service rendered by the late leader and stated that his contributions would be remembered by all ranks and files. It described him as a committed nationalist whose legacy would be cherished by his compatriots. As village headman, the group said Swu was a defender and custodian of traditional values, a pioneer, public leader and social reformer who left behind an indelible mark on the community. NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) prayed that God grant eternal peace to the departed soul and provide solace to the bereaved family members and friends.
