NSCN (R) extends Moatsu greetings

NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has extended greetings to the Ao community on the occasion of ‘Moatsu Festival’.

NSCN (R) through its MIP expressed hope that Ao community members through this festivity would continue to shine in being the ‘Advocators of Peace among Nagas’ and also be torchbearers and harbinger of forbearance and love to all. The group also prayed that this festival bring ‘prosperity and good tidings’ to Ao brothers and sisters.

Moatsu is celebrated in the first week of May to invoke God’s blessings for a good harvest, prosperity and good health.

It is also to build Cordial relationships with neighbours by inviting them during the festival and promoting friendship.
