The Pochury Region NSCN (R), through its MIP has expressed solidarity with the government on the subject of Jackson’s expulsion. NSCN (R) MIP Pochury Region, in a press release stated that Jackson’s expulsion has valid grounds on which, “the authority acted to deliver justice to all as no one is above the nation.”

It further stated that the NSCN/ GPRN, under the leadership of Y Wangtin Naga, gifted the position of Army chief to the Pochury community but Jackson “betrayed the community.”
Pochury region expressed regret that attaining the position of Army chief may not be possible for the Pochury community even in future, which caused “un-healable pain.”
The release stated that it stood by the decision of the government on Jackson’s expulsion and even in the future, on this issue, it will stand by the decision of the government “as he failed to comply with the demand of the government on return of arms.” The Pochury region appealed to its community not to misconstrue the stance of the GPRN on this issue as it has published its position on December 18 and December 28 respectively.
