Reacting to reports of members “surrendering and joining the mainstream”, NSCN/Reformation has strongly condemned the “surrendering of one’s birth right by two national workers” Zinghat of Lapa Village and Ekham of Jakphang Village. In a press release, NSCN (R) MIP termed the “act of surrendering” as the highest form of “treachery and betrayal towards the Naga national movement” and vehemently debars such acts.
While strongly relegating the inaction of those workers, NSCN (R) warned the “backsliders to immediately leave their forsaken Naga homeland and capitulate their moveable and immovable assets failing which the Naga National Army would be compelled to cease it.”
It has also asked the concerned village authorities to immediately excommunicate the duo.
NSCN (R) has also asked all “national entities” be it NNPGs or “non-NNPGs” to remain vigilant of these “modern day Judas Iscariots and initiate stern disciplinary actions wherever they be as they have betrayed and sold off their birth rights.”
Further, NSCN (R) said, “Naga National cause is deeply rooted within us and no force can undermine or jeopardize despite of their sinister designs on their unproductive usage of the term ‘joining the mainstream’ which simply is unfounded and rhetorical in its truest sense.”
