A three-member team of Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) led by its chairperson, W. Nginyeih Konyak, visited Zunheboto district on February 23-24.
According to a DIPR report, the team assessed the livability, safety and protection of women inmates at the District Jail Zunheboto, District Hospital, Police Station, and One Stop Centre.
During the visit, the team interacted with women patients at the District Hospital and women police personnel on duty.
The team also held a brief meeting with Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, and District Welfare Officer Zunheboto.
