NSDMA issues helpdesk numbers for disaster relief

DIMAPUR, JUL 21 (NPN): Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has issued helpdesk numbers to coordinate relief assistance for families affected by landslides, flash floods and other extreme weather events across the state.
In an office memorandum, secretary Sentiwapang Aier, said the recent extreme weather had triggered devastating landslides, severe flash floods and widespread disruption of road and transport connectivity, leaving many families homeless and in need of relief assistance.
To facilitate coordinated relief from the government and private agencies, NSDMA requested affected families and organisations to contact its designated helpdesks– L. Jonjibemo Odyou, assistant manager (Relief, Recovery and Mitigation), NSDMA, at 8258896057, and the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) helpdesk at 0370-2270129 and 0370-2270130.
