NSDMA predicts rainfall till Aug 29

Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has predicted that Nagaland would experience cloudy heavy rainfall in almost all the districts till August 29, 2024.


According to NSDMA, the showers could be accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places. NSDMA said heavy rainfall was also expected in Chumoukedima, Kohima, Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Niuland, Peren and Wokha districts. It said that other districts could experience cloudy moderate rain. NSDMA has advised to take necessary precautionary measures and exercise caution from lightning strikes and gale winds.
