NSEAOA holds 14th general conference in Kohima

DIMAPUR: The 14th general conference of Nagaland School Education Administrative Officers’ Association (NSEAOA) was held on Friday at Morung Hall, directorate of School Education Kohima.
In a press release, NSEAOA informed that during the conference, NSEAOA resolved to “totally object to any move in order to bring in other cadres to fill up vacancies that belong to elementary/secondary cadres within the department.”
The members also adopted the draft constitution of the association in principle with room for additions/omissions.
At the programme, joint director School Education and president NSEAOA, Timothy Thong delivered the presidential address.
Meanwhile, joint director (retd) and convenor search committee, Theyievilie Suohumvu declared the new team of NSEAOA office bearers for the tenure 2022-25 with Ruby Humtsoe as president, Y. Mughaho Zhimo and Opangkokla Aier as vice presidents and Thungchio Shitiri as general secretary along with three other members.
The programme was chaired by deputy mission director Samagra Shiksha and treasurer NSEAOA, Dr. Khatoli Khala.
Earlier, assistant director School Education, Ratuovinuo Pienyü said the invocation while SDEO Medzhiphema and general secretary NSEAOA, Ruby Humtsoe proposed vote of thanks.
