NSF appeals for closure of all schools

Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has appealed to “all educational institutions in the entire Naga inhabited areas to remain close on July 1, 2016 as a mark of love and respect for the legendary Naga leader late Isak Chishi Swu, Yaruiwo (president) National Socialist Council of Nagalim”.
In a press note, NSF president Subenthung Kithan and general secretary Boveio Poukai Duo have directed all federating units and subordinate bodies to disseminate the information and monitor in their respective jurisdiction.
NSF further requested “all the trade/business union/association/chamber of commerce and concerned business establishment in entire Naga areas to remain close on July 1. In this regard NSF has appealed all the concerned to cooperate to the call of the NSF in this hour of mourning.
DNSUs: Presidents of Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) and Diphupar Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) directed closure of all the educational institutions under its respective jurisdictions on June 30.
In a press note, DNSUs stated that the closure has been directed “as a mark of respect to our great Naga leader late Eno Isak Chishi Swu”.
ANPSA Dimapur unit: All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Dimapur Unit has directed all its member schools in and around Dimapur to remain closed on June 30 as a mark of respect for the departed soul of the late Isak Chishi Swu. 
In a press note, ANPSA president Andrew Ahoto Sema further appealed to all well-wishers including its members to positively attend the ‘Public Memorial Service’ at Agri Expo.
Meanwhile, ANPSA has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Isak Swu NSCN (I-M) chairman.
ANPSA conveyed deepest condolences and prayers to the bereaved family members added that the association stood by them at this hour of grief.
