NSF appeals government on ULB

As state government and civil society organizations likely to face showdown on the conduct of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) election, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) urged upon state government to hold “meticulously consultation” with the stakeholders before going ahead with its decision.  
On the other hand, NSF president Subenthung Kithan and assistant general secretary Kesosul Christopher Ltu also asked various mass based organizations to register their resentment in a peaceful manner and refrain from resorting to violent protest.
NSF said it welcomed any form of developmental initiatives, but was concerned on the unfortunate situations that have surfaced since the last few days.  It asserted that present situation can be addressed through discussion.
