Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), in its 2nd Federal Assembly, held a prolonged deliberation on the Indo-Naga political dialogues and agreed to demand for an expedited solution which shall be honourable and acceptable to the people.
A press release signed by NSF president Kesosul Chrictopher Ltu and speaker Amonbo Zeliang said that the NSF was a “premiere organization of the youth and those who will inherit the future” and has to view with seriousness and safeguard the future of the people.
It said that keeping in sight the more than two decades of the peace process and the lack of a “logical conclusion”, the assembly had to question the sincerity of the parties involved “more particularly the Indian Government”.
It further said that Nagaland’s state political scenario directly or indirectly reflects the overall “Naga political projection” and thus, it said, the House viewed the “frequent fracas defection and horse trading by the so-called elected Representatives, devoid of any ethics or principles” with “utter consternation”.
