A Yhome and End of an Era emerged as winners of their respective matches on second day of the pre-quarter final matches in the ongoing NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy, at IG Stadium, here on Friday.
In the second pre-quarter match, A Yhome FC defeated Patkai Christian College 4-1. A Yhome’s, Yhoto secured a hat-trick with his goals in the 8th, 49th and 57th minutes. Teammate, Johnny added a goal in the 29th minute making the score to 4. The lone goal of PCC was scored by Rukuwe at the 72nd minute.
A Yhome FC booked a spot in the quarter-finals and will be playing against the defending champions New Market FC in their next match.
Mhasikhotuo (16) was awarded the man of the match which was handed out by former ASU leader and organising committee member, Vitsikolie Kehie.
In the third pre-quarter final match, End of an Era emerged victorious 5-1 against Khuzama Youth Organisation. Kivi Zhimomi with his 4 goals in the 10th, 32nd, 56th and 67th minutes earned a hat-trick. Nyithong (7) added the fifth goal in the 13th minute.
The lone goal for Khuzama Youth Organisation was scored by Vilhuvoto Sale in the 2nd minute.
With this victory, End of an Era has entered into the quarter-finals.
Kivi Zhimomi from End of an Era was awarded the man of the match which was handed over by VP NSF, Mteisuding.

2nd Match – Asüfü Football Academy Vs Medziphema Royal FC (1:30pm).
