NSF observes foundation day

Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) observed its 70th Foundation day at conference hall NSF office Naga club building, Sunday.
Addressing the gathering as guest speaker, former NSF president, NSN Lotha, lauded the effort and contribution of the pioneers of the federation. 
He reminded that NSF was one of the highest and biggest organizations instrumental in shaping the Naga society on various dimensions and areas.
Lotha said NSF not only work for the welfare of the student community but also influence the issues of the state government and Naga political issue.
Sharing some of the commendable works of the federation, Lotha, however, admitted that the federation has started to lose it past glory and fame and urged the federation to regain its fame with sincerity and dedication. 
He urged upon NSF to retrospect the weak areas and strengthen it with sincere effort to convince the hearts of the people.
NSF former president, Achumbemo Kikon, recalled that NSF was formed not only for student’s welfare e but also due to pertaining Naga political issue. He reminded the gathering that NSF was one of the most effective torch bearers for the Naga political issue and urged the federation to play pivotal role so that Naga  society get better privilege for the upcoming generations.
Other former NSF leaders also spoke on the occasion when a time was given for voluntary speeches.
The programme was led by NSF former secretary information and publicity, E. Krelo, invocation was said Pochury Baptist Church Kohima assistant pastor, Z. Mosa Tsang, NSF president, Kesosul Christopher Ltu delivered presidential address while vote of thanks was proposed by NSF secretary social and culture, Dievi Yano. The programme was attended by former NSF presidents and general secretaries and executives, students’ leaders, All Nagaland College students’ union officials, well wishers and others.
