DIMAPUR, JUL 26 (NPN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has put on hold its proposed peaceful protest scheduled for July 27 until further notice.
In a notification, NSF vice president Vimeyiekho Vitso and general secretary Kenilo Kent said the decision was taken following wider consultations and in view of ongoing engagements with the concerned authorities to address the issues raised by the federation.
It said the federation remained steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding students’ rights and would announce its next course of action if satisfactory progress was not made.
The NSF also expressed appreciation for the understanding, solidarity and continued support extended by students, stakeholders and the general public.
