NSF stir on despite govt plea

Despite the State government’s assurance on revamping of the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), the Naga Students ‘Federation (NSF) continued with its agitation, which entered the eight day. The Federation held a meeting earlier in the day and later met additional chief secretary Lalthara in the afternoon.  While appreciating the state government’s assurance given to the Federation on the issue, the NSF delegation reportedly told the additional chief secretary that the students’ body would give a response to the government’s assurance after thorough deliberations.
The Federation is planning to hold wider consultations on the NPSC issue with other senior NSF members, federating units and academicians. Meanwhile, the Federation said it would resume its agitation Monday.
