NSF to verify documents of NEET qualified candidates

DIMAPUR, AUG 5 (NPN)

Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed all candidates, who qualified through NEET for various professional courses under Nagaland state quota, that there will be physical verification of documents conducted at the NSF office, Kohima, from August 5-7, 2025.
NSF president Medovi Rhi and secretary education Temjentoshi disclosed that verification exercise would be overseen by NSF education committee for a fair and transparent process.
All selected candidates are asked to appear in person for the verification, accompanied by their parents or guardians. Candidates are informed to bring the following original documents for verification: recent passport-sized photograph; NEET documents (admit card/score card); HSLC & HSSLC admit cards; Scheduled Tribe Certificate and Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate.
NSF reiterated that only candidates who are Nagas by blood and indigenous to the state of Nagaland were eligible to claim the seats allotted under Nagaland state quota.
According to NSF, there had been instances of non-indigenous applicants attempting to avail seats under the state quota. In this regard, NSF said that such practices would not be entertained under any circumstances.
The federation maintained that candidates failing to complete the document verification within the stipulated dates would be deemed ineligible for allotment under the state quota.
NSF cautioned that appropriate action would be initiated against any found to have submitted misleading or fraudulent documents.
NSF reaffirmed its commitment in safeguarding the rights and interests of the Naga student community and continue to vigilantly ensure that opportunities meant for indigenous people of Nagaland were not compromised.
For any queries or clarifications regarding verification process, candidates have been requested to contact 8974523931 / 8731911712.
