Mima FC and Asüfü Football Academy registered wins in their respective matches on the second day of the ongoing NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy, here at IG Stadium. In the first match, Mima FC won over Youngsters FC with a score 2-1.
Playing for Mima, Neitho-u Shunyü (13) scored the first goal in the 14th minute of the game.
Later in the second half, Youngsters’ Akhrietuo netted the equaliser.
The winning goal for Mima FC was scored by Khriesamhalie Ngukha in the 75th minute.
The player of the match was awarded to Khriesamhalie Ngukha of Mima FC.
In the second match, Asüfü Football Academy decimated Samaritan FC in a one-sided match with a score 1-0. Asüfü’s P. Sorormi Tningsoang was adjudged as Man of the Match. With this win, Asüfü FA will take on Sechü FC on September 23.
