NUSU KC and End of an Era, won their respective matches in the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy at IG Stadium, here on Friday. In the first match, NUSU KC defeated Rooster FC Phesama 2-1. M. Phaowang scored the opening goal for NUSU KC in the 28th minute and later doubled his score in the 76th minute.
Abei Khamo of Rooster scored the equaliser in the 46th minute, however, they could not better their score and had to concede defeat. The man of the match was awarded to M Phaowang. In the 2nd match, End of an Era defeated Chüziema FC, 2-0 and secured a slot in the next round.
Medoneito scored the first goal for End of an Era in the 12th minute. In the second half, Nyithong doubled the score in the 56th minute. Sanyem was awarded the man of the match.
