DIMAPUR: Nagaland State Pharmacy Council (NSPC) has informed all registered pharmacists in the state that it is undertaking a registration renumbering exercise and has directed them to complete the process at the earliest.
In a notice, the council stated that registered pharmacists must submit their first registration certificate and latest renewal certificate (originals) to the office of the Registrar on working days. The exercise, it said, is aimed at enabling pharmacists to onboard the Health Professional Registry (HPR), which has been made mandatory by the Government of India. Documents required for the renumbering process include an Aadhaar card, proof of residential address or a permanent residential certificate, and two recent passport-size photographs. The council informed that all registered pharmacists must appear in person for the exercise. NSPC further stated that no additional charges would be levied. The renumbering exercise has been in effect since October 4, 2026.
