DIMAPUR, OCT 1 (NPN): The football event of the Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026 will be held from November 10 to 14 at Chümoukedima, with teams scheduled to arrive on November 9.
The tournament fixture was drawn at the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) office on Thursday in the presence of Nagaland Olympic Association Assistant Secretary General Neivikuolie Nicholas Khatsu, NFA president K Neibou Sekhose, NFA officials and representatives of the District Football Associations (DFAs).
The tournament will be played on a knockout basis, with each match comprising 80 minutes of playing time and a 10-minute interval.
A total of 17 district teams will compete in the state-level football event. Each district team can register a maximum of 20 players and four officials—team manager, head coach, assistant coach and physiotherapist—making a total contingent of 24 members.
Teams are required to register through their respective DFAs or District Sports Councils. A maximum of three players from other districts may be included in a team’s final squad, subject to a No Objection Certificate from the concerned DFA.
The NFA has reserved the right to fix match schedules and timings, which may be altered as required.
The final will be played on November 14 at 3 p.m.
