NSRLM launched at RD block Kobulong

Launching program of Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) under the department of Rural Development was held on September 21, at BDO office, RD block Kobulong, Mokokchung. 
Delivering welcome address and introduction of NSRLM, NSRLM Kobulong block, block program manager (BPM) Moatoshi shared on the aims and objective of NSRLM and activities to be undertaken in the block. 
BDO, RD block, Kobulong Er. Temsu Jamir also appealed to the village councils and VDBs to extend full support to the Mission. 
Meanwhile, Central Bank of India, Kobulong branch, branch manager Namoijam Bhopendro Singh, in his speech assured to extend cooperation to the mission as well as SHGs in uplifting the poor in the block. 
Assistant district program manager (ADPM), Bendangtoshi highlighted the participants on the status of NSRLM in Mokokchung till date. DRDA, Mokokchung project officer, and district program manager, Toshimongla Kichu exhorted the stakeholders as well as the staff of NSRLM to discover the resources and full potential of the area for the upliftment of income in the households through the formation of women SHG. 
The program was attended by EAC Kobulong, staff of Central Bank of India Kobulong branch, project officer DRDA, Mokokchung, BDO & staff of RD Block, Kobulong, staff of District Mission Management Unit (DMMU, NSRLM, DRDA, Mokokchung), village councils, VDBs, women department and SHGs representatives from all the villages under RD block, Kobulong, Mokokchung. The programme was chaired by area cordinator, Kobulong block Bendangsenla.
