Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) RD block Tokiye Zunheboto under the department of Rural Development was launched on October 7 at GHSS auditorium Aghunato town by project director DRDA Zunheboto, Shekiho Phuleshe.
Speaking at the launching programme, Shekiho asserted that the mission has been progressing all over India and Nagaland was one of the top performing states and further appealed to the village councils and VDBs to extend full support to the mission.
Assistant district program manager (ADPM), Vika Yeptho highlighted the progress and status of NSRLM in Zunheboto district. Project officer DRDA, Zunheboto Inavi Chishi exhorted the stakeholders with the example of success story of SHGs and its federations in Andhra Pradesh, while district coordinator financial inclusion, Kitoho Chophi shared the importance of financial literacy.
The programme was attended by DMMU, BDO staff, village councils, VDBs, STH members and existing SHG leaders.
Earlier, the programme was invoked by associate pastor youth Aghunato Town Baptist Church, Vitoho Sumi, while programme was chaired by area coordinator Tokiye block, Jafet Sumi. Vote of the thanks was proposed by block program manager, Shihani Tsuipu.
