NSRLM to host SHGs’ Seasonal Bazaar in Kohima

DIMAPUR: To promote natural produce and homemade products of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and encourage community support, the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), department of Rural Development will be organizing a two-day SHGs’ Seasonal Bazaar on September 9 and 10, 2026 at Old NST, Kohima, opposite Crescent International Hotel.
The bazaar will feature products from Wokha district “Land of Plenty”, including green leafy vegetables, pumpkin, chayote, pineapple, chilli variants, fruits, taro stems, pickles, juice, brooms, handicrafts, and livestock such as poultry and crabs.
According to Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, the initiative aims to create awareness about locally available produce and products, while opening avenues for supporting local producers, marketing their goods and exploring opportunities to upscale market reach.
Promoted under the tagline “Go green, Eat fresh and Support Local,” stalls will remain open from 8 am to 5pm on both days.
