National Service Scheme (NSS) under the Ministry of Government of India in collaboration with the Peace Club of Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School (DBHSS) unit, Dimapur consisting of 20 students led by Debasis Das and Clement Beck visited 75 prisoners of district sub-jail, Dimapur on June 23.
A press release from NSS programme officer, Debasis Das stated that, Clement Beck shared that in the eyes of God all human beings were equal no matter whatever may be the social status and positions.
A short prayer service was conducted by Sorenbeni for the inmates of the sub-jail, while others who spoke include Matilda Panmei and Debasis Das. Gospel songs were sung by the students and some stationery items were also donated to them.
Students also interacted with the prisoners about present law, order and crimes.
