NSS-Unit of Patkai Christian College (PCC), under the guidance of Programme Officers, Bendangnungsang and Zuluchila, has organized a blood donation camp on the theme “Donate Blood, Save Lives” on January 31 at College Health Clinic Centre with Medical Office, in charge of Blood Bank, Civil Hospital, Dimapur, Dr. Temsu, as the resource person.
During the programme, Temsu exhorted the NSS volunteers by giving a brief preface on the significance of blood donation and its provisions on saving lives. He said that it a pleasure to save life and encourage the volunteers to come forward to donate blood. On the occasion altogether 37 volunteers donated blood and received certificates and badges from medical team of civil hospital. The Programme Officer expressed his gratitude to all the donors and the medical team led by Dr. Temsu and four other technicians of Dimapur civil hospital for making the event a successful one.
