DIMAPUR, Aug 28 (NPN): The NSS Unit of Phek Government College, in coordination with the My Bharat Office Phek, observed the National Sports Day 2026 Yuva Connect Programme on August 27, joining the rest of the country in the celebration. The programme was virtually addressed by the Prime Minister of India to youths nationwide.
At the college, the event was graced by local sports icon assistant coach of Thenyizu Wrestling Institute, Theputso Kezo, who spoke on the importance of sports and sportsmanship.
His address was followed by an interactive session with students and youths. Officials from My Bharat also delivered messages to the gathering.
The programme featured a special song presented by Huve-o Churah of B.A 3rd Semester, while Humichilu Venuh of B.A 5th Semester and Adosa Nuwiry from My Bharat served as comperes. The concluding remark was delivered by Programme Officer, NSS Unit Phek Government College, Dr. Zhokusheyi Rhakho.
