NSS Units organize blood donation awareness program

DIMAPUR

The NCC units of Dimapur Government College (DGC) and Tetso College, under the 24 Nagaland Bn NCC, Kohima, organised a Blood Donation Awareness Program on May 28, 2025.
According to DGC media cell, the event began with an awareness rally from City Tower to the District Hospital Dimapur, where 34 NCC cadets, along with an Associate NCC Officer (ANO), a Care-Taking Officer (CTO), and a PI Staff, participated. The rally aimed to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation and received a positive response from local residents.
At the District Blood Bank, NCC cadets donated blood, setting a great example for the community.
The organizers thanked the Commissioner of Police for supporting the event, as well as the traffic personnel for managing the rally route and ensuring safety. They also expressed gratitude to the District Hospital authorities for their assistance in the blood donation process.
The initiative reflects the dedication of NCC units and young citizens toward social responsibility and community health, promoting the spirit of service and humanity.
