NSSATA Peren unit demands release of pending salary

NSSATA Peren unit has reminded the state government to release pending salaries and arrears of teachers at the earliest.
A press note by NSSATA Peren unit president Huzengluibo and general secretary Kelidau, has asked the new state government and concerned authority to abide with the written assurances given on November 2, 2016 for timely release of SSA teachers’ salary.
NSSATA Peren unit pointed out that payment of regular salary became ineffective from the very month of signing the agreement as it proved to be a failure. It pointed out that the entire SSA teachers were yet to get their salaries and arrears since November 2016 inspite of discharging their duties diligently.
NSSATA Peren also informed the government that the same issue had been going on for many years, which had adversely affected the delivery of quality education. NSSATA Peren unit therefore asked the government to bring about permanent solution for timely payment of salary every month.
