Nagaland State Veterinary Council (NSVC) would be observing “World Veterinary Day” on April 29 at the Capital Convention Centre, Secretariat Plaza, Kohima.
A press note by deputy registrar Nagaland State Veterinary Council, Dr. L. Temsu Ao, informed that the day would be observed by organising a dog show competition and a special appearance by Dog squad, DEF, Kohima.
Nagaland State Veterinary Council informed that the dog show, which is open to all, would start from 10 a.m. and that first, second and third would be selected from five categories i.e. pure breed, cross breed and indigenous native breed.
The department has informed that registration forms would be available in Government Veterinary Hospitals and Private Veterinary Clinics.
A technical session cum function would also be held where the best veterinarian award would be given.
All registered veterinarian have been requested to attend the “World Veterinary Day.”
