With the rest of the world, New Tesen Baptist Church Children Department (NTBCCD), celebrated World Sunday School Day on November 4 at its Church premises under the theme, ‘Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men’ from Luke chapter 2 verse 52.
A press release by Sunday School superintendent, Nlumbui Hengame stated that the day was marked by glitzy decorations and students displayed their talents through activities like skits, songs, Bible verse recitations and choreography.
The release added that Sunday School teachers were also felicitated by Nlumbui Hengame. Speaker of the day, children department advisor, Itingcang, who spoke on how Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men, and briefly highlighted the origin of Sunday School in the beginning his sermon.
A major highlight of the program was the invocation of God’s blessings upon the Children’s department by pastor Heikwetgong. The service was led by Sunday School teacher, Kisuingaule.
