NTC asks govt to probe into ZPO complaint

Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has asked the state government to immediately investigate into the complaint lodged by Zeliang Peoples’ Organization Nagaland (ZPO-N) against issuance of Scheduled Certificate, Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate and Backward Tribe Certificate to two persons from Manipur in the name of Zeliang tribe.
NTC media cell in a press note said that ZPO (N) had lodged a complaint to Commissioner, Nagaland against the alleged issue of certificates to two persons– K. Rangsobe, s/o Peining and Mr. Lunghilang Pamai s/o Ramlan from Manipur, who appeared the NPSC Exam 2016 vice No. 15424 and No. 15663 respectively in the name of Zeliang tribe. 
NTC said that the complaint was against a serious breach of existing law where non-indigenous tribal candidate or a non-member of a backward tribe cannot avail any job out of coercion. 
In this regard, the Nagaland Tribes Council has appealed to the concerned authorities to immediately investigate in to the allegations  raised by Zeliang Peoples’ Organization and take appropriate action as per law.
